1st "$2,500 a Week for Life" prize claimed in Fla

The Florida Lottery announces that the members of Plymel Holdings, LLC, Donald and Susan Plymel, of Melbourne, claimed a top prize in the $2,500 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Plymel Holdings, LLC, chose to receive the winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,163,744.30. The winning Scratch-Off ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 3200 Lake Washington Road in Melbourne. This was the first top prize won in the LUCKY $2,500 A WEEK FOR LIFE game.

"We feel so fortunate to have won a top prize in this game," exclaimed Plymel. "This money will enable us to give back to charitable organizations for children."

The $5 game, $2,500 A WEEK FOR LIFE, launched on February 5, 2013. There are three top prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning a prize are one-in 4.02.
